Dancing to give THANKS to the 4-headed god who granted one's wish(es)!
And people buy the gold paper to stick onto the elephants.  Thai LOVE their elephants.  Forgot to ask them why?

The 4-Headed God in Bangkok

We lived across the street from the famous 4-headed God of Bangkok.  Many people believe that this god can grant you wishes.  When you make a wish and it comes true, you must come back and "thank" the god by paying for dancers to entertain the 4-headed God.  My mom's godmother, my 乾婆婆, told us that once someone tried to chop the head off of the 4-headed God and was caught by many of its believers.  They beat him to death! scary.

An interesting birthday celebration for my 爺爺 (YEH YEH)

Here we are at Nadamen, one of the best Japanese tapanyaki restaurant in Hong Kong.  We are here for my grandpa's 80th birthday. This is a place where the chefs cook in front of you.  In the end, Yeh-yeh (my grandpa) got mad because they didn't have good service.  Then they gave us a 20% discount and then also invited  Yeh-yeh to be one of their permanent V.I.P member.  Members get a 20% discount every time they go to the restaurant.

We met Sparky today!

This little dinosaur is a Pleo. It belongs to my sisters' god-brother Kaelan. He named it Sparky. You can name your Pleo, feed it, train it, and put it to sleep. It was really fun to play with it because it's soooooooooo cute!  It even sits, stretches, and sings! My brother really enjoyed playing with it. It's like a real pet! My sister might get one so our family will then have a pet dinosaur!

An entire day of PLAY at Colin, KK & Declan's house

We played the entire day at Auntie Angela & Uncle Alan's house today.  He even took the day off work to play with us.  We played Dance Revolutions on their Wii big screen & and watched uncle Alan kill bears, monkeys, and turned into mama gorilla and saved her many babies from attacks.  We also played Webkinz with the boys.  We also played Uno with their little brother, Declan, who kept messing up all the cards and kept adding more cards to his deck.  We didn't mind.   He's really fun to watch.
Auntie Angela is my sister's godmother but she has known me longer and treats me like her daughter too.  I'm so lucky to have all these great friends in Hong Kong.  Mommy said we used to play together everyday together and went to school together too.
Their "new" house (since we left HK) is really big and the perfect playground for the six of us.  We ordered Chinese take out and ate at home.  It was the best way to play.  It rained today also.  We missed it because we stayed home all day.
This is my Uncle Dustin and Auntie Andrea (right). This is our main reason why we came on this trip. It was really nice! We took lots of pictures. My sister and I also got to wear high heels! We also met many other new people and got to spend lots of time with the bride and groom. Isn't the Auntie Andrea (the bride) sooooo pretty and Uncle Dustin (the groom) is looking his very, very, best! Uncle Dustin, you are a very lucky man!!!
